One of the CO-CREATH Lab’s four core pillars in authentic community engagement. We engage with community members, such as individuals in the African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) community, as well as other stakeholders in examining the health needs of vulnerable people and creating solutions to advance health equity.
We involve community members at every level of research by employing individuals as project staff, collaborating with people who have lived experiences, building capacity of a variety of stakeholders, and more.
Our lab is fortunate to work with the next generation of changemakers, as we mentor students at all levels, providing practical experience in an empowering environment.
