CAPP 2.0 Project

The COVID-19 African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) Providers Project Part 2 (CAPP 2.0) aims to accelerate the use of high quality and real-time evidence collected on the contextual vulnerability and challenges experienced by ACB communities using data from CO-CREATH’s previous research to develop, implement and evaluate community-driven solutions to structural inequalities that continue to hamper recovery from COVID-19.

We are creating five interactive educational modules for healthcare providers on the subjects of social determinants of health, COVID-19 and its impacts on health, critical health literacy, critical racial literacy, and cultural competency and safety. Currently we are in the development phase where we are working with key knowledge experts to create these modules. Next steps will include implementing the capacity-building interventions, and evaluating their reach and effectiveness among health stakeholder groups.
